Sliproad

Privacy policy

Sliproad doesn't collect any data.

Every time you reach for one of the apps you set it up for (TikTok, Instagram or YouTube), Sliproad keeps the time on your iPhone, so it can show you how many times you've reached for each today, yesterday and this week. It keeps each time for four weeks, then only the count for each day. None of it leaves your phone. Sliproad has no account, and no ads, analytics or tracking.

The one thing Sliproad sends is a check for a newer version of itself, each time you open it, to Expo, the service that delivers its updates. The check carries Sliproad's version, your iPhone's version of iOS and a random number made for this copy of Sliproad, which says nothing about you. None of your reaches go with it. Expo explains how it handles these checks in its own words.

Sliproad uses Apple's Shortcuts app to open before those apps. The automation you set up there stays on your iPhone, under your control, and you can turn it off or delete it at any time.

Deleting Sliproad deletes everything it kept.
